I believe that a photograph is captured by a camera not created by computer software to produce what I call  “Digital ART”.

Today, you will often here the question “Is that photograph real or has it been photoshopped or manipulated?”.  I am proud to guarantee, all my photographs are the result of my skills using camera equipment and not enhanced by software.  I guarantee no software manipulations have been used.  All colour, contrast, brightness and sharpness are completely as shot by the camera.  I love the challenge of producing the best photograph I can, using my skills and knowledge of my camera equipment.

I put a lot of effort into my photography.  I will persevere and return numerous times to achieve that perfect shot in the right light.  That’s the fun and challenge of photography.  It takes skill to use your camera equipment and know what settings will have it produce the result you are after.  Not just take a photo and change things later on a computer to what you wanted it to look like.

Simply put a camera produces a PHOTOGRAPH, post processing produces a PHOTOIMAGE or DIGITAL ART.

This is why, when I teach photography, I teach you how to use your camera not rely on  computer software.
